SIGNING 4 CHILDCARE and SIGNING 4 PRESCHOOL Training Events!
Signing 4 Childcare Events are suitable for childminders, staff in nurseries and childrens centres or any other individuals who work in a childcare setting. It will focus on the benefits of signing, suitable signs and songs for all age groups. The next event will be held on Tues 11 Sept in the Market House, Ballynahinch. from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
Signing 4 Preschool Events are suitable for staff from playgroups, nurseries or any childcare environment. It will focus on the benefits of signing, suitable signs and songs for preschool children. The next event will be held on Tues 11 Sept in the Market House, Ballynahinch. from 2pm to 5pm.
Cost £50 per person (includes materials)
During this 3 hour workshop you will learn:
• How signing in a childcare environment can support children’s communication, reduce frustration & challenging behaviour
• How signing fits with the Areas of Learning in the NI Foundation Stage Curriculum
• How to incorporate signing into your routines and activities
• Over 100 signs and lots of new songs and activities
• You will receive useful handouts information to help you implement what you have learned
