Booking

Booking operates on a first come first served basis. Places cannot be reserved without forms and remittance / deposit.

Missed classes

Fees are non-refundable except in extenuating circumstances at your teacher’s discretion. Blocks of classes are paid for in full, even if you are not going to be able to attend all the classes. If you are unable to attend please e-mail (fiona@sign2music.co.uk), text or telephone Sign2Music (07914849449) prior to the class. If you miss a class it cannot be refunded or carried over to the next block of classes. If a session is cancelled by the teacher, then you will be provided with an opportunity to make up the class.

Behaviour

While we make every effort to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone, the role of our teachers is to facilitate the class, not in any way to supervise the children. You are responsible for your child(ren) while attending classes. To make our classes as enjoyable for everyone, please supervise your child(ren) at all times to ensure they are not hurting or being hurt by another child, damaging equipment or reducing the enjoyment of the sessions for others. To ensure children can fully enjoy and take part in the session, we ask that you wait until the session is finished to chat to other adults present. We ask that you also keep your phone on silent during sessions and that no food or drink, apart from breast, bottle or tube feeding, is consumed during the session.

Health and safety

Your health and safety is important to us and we have taken every step possible to reduce the risk of infection with COVID-19 and other potential infections. We have undertaken a risk assessment (available on request) and follow PHA / Government guidelines. You will support us in minimising this risk by ensuring you follow guidance in relation to handwashing and social distancing, particularly when entering and leaving the building.

We are aware that measures such as social distancing are challenging with babies and toddlers and by attending classes you do so with this knowledge. The safety measures we have put in place cannot eradicate the risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus and by attending our classes you are doing so at your own risk.

Please do not come to class if you or your child are ill in any way, have any symptoms of COVID-19 (increased temperature, a new continuous cough, loss of or change to taste or smell), or have been in the 48 hours prior to class. Advise us immediately if your or your child develop symptoms after attending classes. We reserve the right to refuse attendance if we feel a child has COVID-19 symptoms.

No responsibility can be taken for loss/damage to property/person in/outside the venue.

Photographs or video

We may ask to take photos or videos at class for promotional purposes on occasion, but will not do so without notice or permission. You are free to photograph or video your child, but please ask permission if another child will be in these.

Additional resources

All sundry items (eg, books, puppets, etc) to be paid for when the order is placed. Receipts will be issued for all fees paid / items purchased and Sign2Music will keep copies.

Data protection

The personal information you provide will be processed and held in accordance to the principles outlined in the Data Protection Legislation for the sole purpose of meeting the legitimate business interests of Sign2Music.

Copyright

None of the information provided to you by your teacher verbally, electronically or in hard copy, is to be copied or reproduced or recorded or filmed without prior written permission from Sign2Music. This information is protected by copyright. Sign2Music is an innovative and successful business and to stay this way we actively control and protect our intellectual property. Any unauthorised use will be prosecuted.

Insurance

Sign2Music is covered by professional indemnity/public liability insurance up to £2 million (copies of certificate available on request). This does not cover personal belongings for staff or group members
